After leaving the shelter, the kitten quickly regained his true personality. Now, he has a feline friend to admire and learn from.
@otowncats reached out to Little Wanderers NYC regarding a little orphan kitten that had been taken to a shelter in the city. The tiny feline, only six weeks old, had trouble walking steadily due to a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. Although a bit wobbly on his feet, the kitten was in good health and didn’t seem to be in any pain. He just needed a loving home environment to flourish, and thankfully, Ashley, a volunteer for the rescue, was willing to step in and help.
Upon her arrival at the shelter to collect the kitten, Ashley was pleasantly surprised to see a mini version of her own beloved cat, Laser.

Ashley was informed that the little cat couldn’t feed itself and required nourishment through a syringe. Once he made himself at home in his comfortable new surroundings, he displayed a voracious appetite for pate, eagerly diving in headfirst to devour it.
“He’s eating solid food on his own now, but still requires assistance with liquids using a syringe,” Ashley explained. “He may be a bit wobbly, but he doesn’t seem to mind at all.”

After a satisfying meal, Figaro the kitten wasted no time getting into play mode. Despite some minor mishaps as he roamed around, he didn’t let it slow him down one bit.
“He doesn’t let his condition hold him back at all. Playing is his favorite thing to do.”

Laser, Ashley’s furry household member, perked up at the sound of excitement coming from the foster room. Eager to make a new friend, Laser greeted the young cat with some gentle nose touches. The kitten was over the moon to have a playmate and was full of energy, ready to race around with his new buddy.
Laser, the household cat, planted a gentle kiss on the kitten’s nose. Despite being uncertain about how to interact with a kitten much smaller than himself, Laser didn’t hesitate to clean and groom the little one whenever Ashley brought him over. Figaro absolutely loves the affection and attention from Laser, feeling completely at ease in his presence.
The laser toy keeps the little kitten’s face free from dirt and debris. The energetic furball spends his days playing, purring, and seeking snuggles. Laser has even joined in the fun, engaging in playful wrestling matches with his feline friend. This lively kitty is constantly in motion, leaping onto toys, investigating every corner, and perfecting his cat skills. Laser is kept busy keeping up with his buddy, playing until they both eventually wear themselves out.
Laser takes on the role of guiding Figaro as they play together. The little kitten bounces around with endless energy, while Laserboy watches over him with a calm presence. The two of them make an adorable pair, with Figaro looking up to his foster sibling for guidance and companionship.
Figaro admires his foster sibling Laser, who never fails to bring excitement with his mischievous behavior. Thanks to regular play sessions and a variety of activities, Laser’s coordination has noticeably improved.

Despite his wild antics, Figaro transforms into a big softie when he receives some cuddles. This adorable, sweet and playful boy is doing very well in his foster home, where he is learning the ways of being a cat from his similar-looking buddy.
